This wine offers a deep, dark ruby color with cedar and herbaceous notes, intermixed with black and red currants and loamy soil undertones. It is modestly endowed, but well-balanced and best drunk over the next several years.

The 2010 Vega Sindoa Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 10 months in French oak) exhibits aromas of tobacco leaf, toast, black currants, damp earth and a hint of espresso roast as well as good ripeness, medium body and a soft, velvety mouthfeel. Drink it over the next several years. Bodegas Nekeas, a high-quality, value-priced winery owned by eight families in Navarra, owns over 577 acres of relatively high elevation vineyards.
