The 2007 Oppidum opens to an inky dark appearance with dark garnet and crimson hues. The bouquet is beautifully harmonious with dark cherry, blackberry, spice, leather and grilled herb. All of these aromas work together in perfect balance. The wine is well constructed and thick with good support and structure at the back. The finish is long in persistence and dark fruit flavors.
