Aged 15 months in 25% new French oak, the pale ruby colored 2018 Pinot Noir Tuenge Vineyard offers pretty scents of dried blueberries and dusty earth with bright touches of amaro and floral perfume. The light-bodied palate is detailed and silky, with bright, fresh, crunchy fruits and a lifted, spicy finish. 120 cases were made.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Tuenge Vineyard, aged 15 months in 40% new French oak, has a medium ruby-purple color and aromas of Cran-Apple, blueberries, violets, earth and cigars with a minerally undercurrent. The palate is medium-bodied and silky with great freshness and a long, layered finish. 118 cases produced.

From a vineyard planted in 1998, the 2015 Pinot Noir Tuenge Vineyard is pale to medium ruby in color with black cherry pie, cardamom and blueberry compote on the nose with floral notes and suggestions of dried leaves. Light to medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with ripe, bright fruits framed in pretty spice. It's silky textured with very soft, fine-grained tannins and juicy acidity, finishing long and spicy. 125 cases produced.

The 2012 Pinot Noir Tuenge Vineyard comes from the Chehalem Mountains and was picked on October 18, matured for 12 months in 40% new French oak. This is more backward and taciturn on the nose compared to Erath's other 2012s, demanding more coaxing. The palate is medium-bodied with fine salinity on the entry, fleshy and harmonious red berry fruit with a dash of white pepper lending persistence on the finish that fans out beautifully. Just give this excellent wine 12-18 months for the aromatics to develop and you'll have a very fine Pinot Noir.

The 2009 Pinot Noir Tuenge Vineyard offers exceptional complexity, balance, and density for the vintage. Layered, seamless, and long, it will drink nicely through 2021 if not longer.
