The 2010 Don Vinico Garnacha – Syrah Rose displays aromas of strawberry, rhubarb, and cherry blossom informing the nose of a fruity, balanced, tasty offering that should prove versatile at the table. Drink it over the next 12-18 months. Grandes Vinos y Vinedos is a large cooperative in the DO of Carinena, a region which I visited in 2011. Once neglected, it is now producing numerous excellent value priced wines from the old vines that are being revitalized.
