The 2016 Pinot Noir Deer Gate is pale to medium ruby colored and scented of bergamot leaves, cranberry sauce, rhubarb and pomegranate with warm earth and classic notions of cola and wood smoke plus touches of Cran Apple and baking spice. Light to medium-bodied, it has good layering of ripe fruits, earth and spice in the mouth, with a seamless, grainy frame and long, spicy finish. Yum! 660 cases produced.

Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Deer Gate has fragrant raspberries and warm cherries notes with touches of baking spices and forest floor. The palate is light to medium-bodied with just enough expressive red berry and spice flavors framed by chewy tannins and finishing with an herbal lift. 220 cases produced.

Pale ruby-purple colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Deer Gate is a little closed with notes of red cherries and black raspberries plus hints of garrigue, sage and dusty earth. The medium-bodied palate is soft, juicy fruited and uncomplicated with some dried herb and earth notes on the finish.
