An unusual blend of equal parts Garnacha and Graciano, the 2013 GyG (Garnacha y Graciano!) is bottled after a few months in American oak barrels. It's quite grapy, has aromas of raisins and an herbal touch that lead to a quite light ending with a distinct bittersweet sensation. This is ripe and showy in a commercial way. 84,000 bottles

The 2012 Garnacha y Graciano is a clean, modern, 50/50 blend of the two grapes fermented separately in stainless steel and aged in barrel for six months, a fresh, fruit-driven, hedonistic wine with pure raspberry aromas and a juicy, tender palate with polished tannins and good acidity. Drink now to enjoy the fruit. This is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja, which now belongs to the Principe de Vina group in Navarra.
