The 2009 Zinfandel Home Ranch emerges from the glass with sweet black cherries, licorice, spices, tar and leather. This is a decidedly plush Zinfandel built on deep layers of fruit to match its intense, muscular personality. Home Ranch is the original Seghesio vineyard first planted in 1895. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017.
