Deep garnet-purple in color, 2006 D Block Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon offers intense cassis, dried Mediterranean herbs and clove aromas, with supporting notes of graphite, dusty earth, cedar and forest floor. Crisp and full bodied on the palate, it has a firm level of very fine tannins and a good concentration if berry and earth flavors. The finish is long and well balanced.
