The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Teuvillans, which comes from the Pommard side of the appellation, has a lifted bouquet with blackcurrant , and raspberry scents, a touch of chalk, the 40% whole bunch neatly integrated here. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant chewiness on the entry, quite saline in the mouth with a structured, but very focused and fresh finish. This is a very well-crafted premier cru that will end up towards the top of my banded score.Neil Martin
