Its opaque purple color is accompanied by juicy aromas of roasted coffee, chocolate, berries, and toasty oak, supple tannin, large, corpulent flavors, and well-integrated acidity. It should drink well for 7-10 years. Run by Don Zilm, this impressive winery fashions textbook Barossa cuvees, meaning power, thickness, intensity as well as surprising balance.
