The asterisk next to the Meursault Narvaux (50 cases) is due to the fact that this unfiltered wine is quite cloudy. The day I tasted this wine the nose was totally unyielding but the mouth revealed intense ripeness of fruit and a tangy, zippy acid. This well balanced and medium-to-full-bodied wine can be drunk upon its release and will hold for 5-8 years thereafter. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29.
