A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Malbec, the 2016 Artist Series Red Wine opens to a core of dark fruit on the nose, with blackberry, dark cherry and damson fruit aromas wafting from the glass alongside elegant oak spices and velvety purple flowers. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, the wine grows in complexity with a structured core of black fruit that becomes more tart across the mid-palate and lingers with a firm yet elegant spice and a grippy, tannic edge.
