The 2017 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru reveals aromas of lemon oil, beeswax, pastry cream and nutmeg. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, tensile and chalky, with a reserved, structural profile. This was one of the less advanced wines in the cellar when I tasted it, so it will be interesting to revisit from bottle.

A creamy version, this features vanilla, butterscotch and baking spice notes, dripping over peach and pear fruit. Supple and harmonious, underlined by vibrant acidity.
