The 2010 Isolation Ridge Vineyard Riesling comes from this single vineyard planted in 1988, certified organic. It presents a more savory / earthy nose than the other Rieslings with notes of baking bread, crushed stones and lightly toasted almonds over gentle peach blossom, green apple and fresh pear notes. The dry, light bodied palate lends very crisp acid and nervy citrus fruit concentration, finishing long and minerally. Still very tight, give it another year or two in bottle and drink it to 2021+.
