The 2017 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico has dried plum and blackberry, but those aromas play a supporting role to spice, cured leather and earth. This is a full-bodied Amarone, with a brawny personality and a powerful 16.5% alcohol content. This blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and other local grapes is released in a production of 20,000 bottles.
