The stainless steel tank-aged 2003 Vitiano Bianco (a blend of 34% Vermentino, 33% Viognier, and 33% Verdicchio) exhibits lovely ripe, exotic, honeysuckle, and peach notes intermixed with pear and pine needle-like aromas. With loads of charm, plenty of fruit, and a dry, refreshing finish, it should be consumed over the next year. A Leonardo Locascio Selection, Winebow, Hohokus, NJ; tel. (201) 445-0620
