The medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Corton-Bressandes has a perfumed violet and red cherry-scented nose. This is a medium to full-bodied, powerful, massive wine with layer upon layer of cherries, plums, and blackberries in its chewy, satin-textured character. It possesses loads of superbly ripened tannin that give it an exemplary structure. This concentrated, muscular wine will be at its best between 2005 and 2012.
