Luigi Coppo's 2018 Barbera d'Asti l'Avvocata (packaged in a screwcap bottle) is a light and fragrant expression of the grape with pretty aromas of rose hip, plum, dark fruit and summer cherry. This is a mid-weight wine that is lighter and less concentred than a Barbera you might find in the Alba area. Instead this easy-going expression from Asti prizes freshness and primary fruit.
