Still showing a healthy light gold color, the 2010 Ventoux la Quintessence Blanc has evolved into a mineral-laced, rich and slightly honeyed effort that has beautiful notes of white currants, crushed rock and even a hint of petrol to go with a medium-bodied, fresh, balanced and classic feel on the palate. It will keep nicely for another 4-5 years, although there's no need to hold off.
