Here's an older note from a wine that may be in your cellar already. The 2012 Barbaresco shows simple lines and makes a direct but impactful first impression. The bouquet offers dried berry, spice and powdered licorice. You get a good sense of the depth that Nebbiolo can offer, but the warm vintage conditions give the wine a simple and straightforward personality.
