This top-flight, impressive sparkler from Tasmania is a blend of 53% Chardonnay and 47% Pinot Noir. It exhibits a frothy, light-bodied style that somewhat belies the amount of Pinot Noir in the blend. Reminiscent of a blanc de blancs, it possesses delicate, crisp, light-bodied, refreshing flavors. There was some question as to whether or not the importer will bring this offering into the USA. I hope they give it a shot with some of the country’s more innovative sommeliers.
