Only 150 magnums of the limited release 2009 Alan's Cabernet Pressings was produced. It was bottled only in magnums, "to keep people from drinking it too early," David Anderson explained. Very deep garnet colored, it gives pronounced notes of dried plums, black currant cordial and blueberry preserves with nuances of black pepper, mint and a whiff of cedar. Densely packed, full bodied, rich and succulent, it has medium to firm fine-grained tannins, crisp acid and a long finish.
