The dark ruby/purple-tinged 2002 Zinfandel Tofanelli Vineyard (300 cases; 16% alcohol) is tighter-knit than the two previous cuvees. However, in the glass it begins to rumble, revealing scents of macerated black cherries, pepper, autumnal/composty notes, and a hint of licorice.
