With a nose combining fruit and oak but with nice integration, the 2014 Crianza is the flagship bottling, with no less than 800,000 bottles produced. Protos is one of the most consolidated brands in Ribera del Duero. It's clean and expressive but with some rustic tannins on the palate that diminish its drinkability. It was bottled in June 2016.
