Notes of cassis, smoky berry fruit, spices and rich soil tones introduce the 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots, a medium to full-bodied, bright and concentrated wine that's a touch more structured and muscular than the Chaignots.

The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots is showing beautifully in bottle, wafting from the glass with aromas of plums, rose petals, wild berries and warm spices. Medium to full-bodied, layered and complete, its velvety attack segues into an ample core of bright, succulent fruit framed by melting tannins.

The 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots is also showing very well, soaring from the glass with a dramatic bouquet of raspberries, black truffles, dark chocolate, rich soils tones and a deft framing of toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, ripe and broad-shouldered, its ample core of fruit is girdled by succulent acids and powdery tannin.

The 2017 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots is very promising, bursting from the glass with a fragrant bouquet of rose petal, orange rind and small red berries. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, deep and succulent with tangy acids, melting tannins and a long, perfumed finish.
