The 2009 Barahonda Tinto is 100% Monastrell aged in stainless steel. Purple-colored, it offers up an enticing bouquet of mineral, earth notes, lavender, incense, blueberry, and plum. More structured than the Carro cuvee, on the palate it has excellent volume, savory black and blue fruit flavors, plenty of spice, and a lengthy, fruit-filled finish.
