Duboeuf believes the medium to dark ruby-colored 2000 Beaujolais-Villages (flower label) is the finest wine he has ever produced from this appellation. Aromatically, it bursts from the glass with loads of fresh cherries. This is a delicious, expressive offering with an excellent depth of red and blue fruits. It reveals good structure, a lush personality, and a sweet, flavorful finish. Drink it over the next 3 years.
