The new release of Lehmannn's flagship Shiraz, the 2014 Stonewell Shiraz is a blend of three vineyards, not necessarily along Stonewall Road but from the northern and northwestern sectors of Barossa Valley. Aged 15 months in French oak, it's cedary on the nose but plush and expansive on the palate, with waves of black cherry and blackberry fruit finished off with hints of baking spices and licorice. Full-bodied and full-flavored, it should age well for a decade or more.
