The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is possessed of the same character on the nose as the preceding three vintages: button mushroom, boot polish, star anise and salted licorice. After the introduction of a very savory nose, the wine in the mouth has charry oak, a resinous texture and layers of exotic spice. The purity of fruit is wedged in slivers between the layers of tannins and spice. It has lovely texture and fresh acid through the finish.
