Full ruby-edged red. Nose like an old furniture store, with stony, earthy and floral notes as well as dusty spices and creamy vanillin oak to go with the raspberry and plum fruit aromas. Concentrated peppery flavors of musky cassis, red berries and plums, intermeshed with chocolatey and vanillin oak. Naturally ripe and nicely balanced. A powerfully structured, long-term wine with a firm, bony spine.
