The opulent, rich, pure, honeysuckle-scented 1994 Chardonnay Du Pratt Vineyard is loaded with layers of creamy fruit. It possesses considerable complexity, as well as outstanding depth, ripeness, and overall balance. This full-flavored Chardonnay never comes across as heavy or too powerful. It should drink well for 2-3 years. Other than Kistler and Marcassin, it is unlikely readers will find a bevy of such consistently high quality Chardonnays from one particular vintage.
