Last Tasted 12/91This has always been a stunning bottle of Chateauneuf. It was absolutely delicious when first released, still delicious in mid-life, and now that it is fully mature, it remains decadently ripe, intense, and personality-filled. There is considerable sediment in the bottle, and the color is beginning to take on an amber/orange hue at the edge of the glass. I would not tempt fate, but it is one heck of a bottle of old style, heavy duty Chateauneuf du Pape.
